"Taking the stairs"

From now on I am taking the stairs. I am not referring to the stairs in building, but the stairs of life. When you take the elevator it is a lot quicker and convenient, but it can also stop your progress. The stairs will wear you down and even tighter your legs, but they will never stop like an elevator. I have rode the elevator a lot in my life to eventually find out it is not the best option for your health. Do you have any elevators in your life, if so rid yourself of them? It will save you time, money, and the risk of being stuck at one point. People I have experienced first hand that elevators should only be used for the injured and the elderly. Take the stairs people!!!

"Life"

Life is so much easier when people learn to become content. No one is happy these days. One who is satisfied with life, has full trust in the Lord. It makes logical sense when you think about it. How can you fully trust the Lord, if you have worries? I am not saying that having a sense of urgency is bad, but constant worry is bad character. As a Christian I must admit, I fall short of the glory as well, but remaining true to the word of Jesus has allowed me to leave things in the past. We cannot change the way people think, nor can we force people to have morals. The almighty is responsible for convicting people's spirits, thus he is the only one that can truly handle situations dealing with intolerable people.
Life is referred to as a game of cards in which you play the cards that you are dealt, sometimes people are not happy with the cards they receive. Despite the bad hand that you were dealt, just be happy that you have cards in the first place.  Life is too short for foolish worries and insecurities. Instead, rely on the almighty, he will never let you down.

"Love"

He who finds true love has found the good thing. What is love exactly? Love is like a theory in my opinion. It cannot be proven, but it can be substantiated upon evidence. There is no one way to define or describe love unless you use the phrase "God is love and love is God", which is the best definition of love from my perspective. In order to truly find love as a Christian, you must know the creator of all things. Sometimes love is treated as a sport. You only use it as recreation and at your own convenience. Love is many things, but convenience is not one of them. When you are in love, there is a responsibility of going beyond who you are as a person. If you go into a relationship the same person that you were before, there will be major issues. I am not saying that you have to change for your significant other, nevertheless compromise is always required in any relationship. Imagine placing 50 people in a room to agree on any subject, it will not happen. Everyone will not see eye to eye on every issue, thus respecting someone's opinion and valuing that opinion is very critical in growing as a person and in a relationship. Love knows no distance as people may think that it does. The concept of love travels across nations and oceans, why can't it travel across states?
                Peace!!!! Much love to you!!!!!

"The number one reason for miscommunication"

Today, there are several conversations that exist where people are not on the same page. What contributes to this? One has to emphasize the increase of miscommunication because it can be the difference between success and failure. Most people do not want to want to compromise, hence the increase of failing marital relationships. If you cannot handle a person at their lowest point, then you do not deserve that person at their highest point. With that being said, as humans communication dictates our perception and is most vital at the first impression stage. What if a person fakes that first impression? I was talking to a friend the other day and made a comment regarding first impressions as quoted by the comedian Chris Rock. When you meet someone for the first time, you are not meeting them, you are meeting their representative. You do not meet the real person until the tough gets going. Honesty and true images of who you really are at first impression will save a lot of wasted time and money. Parallel communication is rarely established due to the lack of "real" impressions. As an avid finder of miscommunications, the best advice that I can give is to explore different situations with a person that you are pursuing. For instance, take a prospective partner to various places that he or she is not familiar with and her attitude will more than likely tell you what kind of person they are. Most people who are ungrateful will be reluctant to the idea, but people who are team players will be open and understanding to the idea.
          Peace!!!!! Much love to you!!!!

"Why?"

I am currently reading a book entitled "Games People Play" by Eric Berne, which demonstrates the various reasons for why people act the way they act. From personal experience, seeking the reasoning for people's action is a difficult process. Why do people act the way they act? According to Eric Berne, people act in certain ways similarly to the way that their parents would act. Do you think this is true? I have experienced many encounters that have led me to believe that this theory is true. Imagine a previous relationship that you had and compare that person to their parents. Did they resemble their parents from your knowledge? As time is of the essence nowadays, we must examine the parents and family structure of a person to truly learn what that person is truly about.Half the worry in the world is caused by people trying to make decisions before they have sufficient knowledge on which to base a decision.”- Dean Hawkes

"When a man loves"

I believe that when a man loves, he loves for real. I know R.Kelly said when a women loves, but what about a man? Popular belief says that it takes a lot for most men to love, thus there should be the notion that when a man loves he loves for real. From personal experience, when I love, it is serious. Why would you play with love? A lot of people have died for love and to play around with it is devastating. I am aware that fake love has occurred, but why? Is it lust? Is it indecisiveness? Or is it just evil? I can only imagine fake love as I have never been in fictional love. A wise man once said, "You cannot fall out of love with someone if you ever truly loved them". I personally feel that this statement is self evident as love is stronger than a like or a crush. What do you think?
